Setting the syllabus for class 10 CBSE is not an easy task. CBSE board does a lot of research before setting the syllabus for class 10. It is required so, because CBSE had its entire syllabus in sequential pattern. Though every school in India follows CBSE board and they consider being good one. The motive behind the board is clear that they want to impart quality education to every child. To do so they try to make its syllabus relevant to class 10 students. As we all know that CBSE run by central government of India so another good point about it that the syllabus all over India is same for every class. Just for an example a student studying in class 9 in a school in Delhi and his parents got transfer to other city then they don’t have to worry at all their child will not miss a thing from his studies because as it is mention above that CBSE have same syllabus all over India. CBSE is the board which set syllabus for the grade starting from class nursery to class 12. In designing the syllabus CBSE, is helped by National council of education and research training(NCERT). Both of them try to improve the standards of education. Central Board Secondary Education always keep a sequence in his syllabus by this we mean that we can see the link in topics which we will be learning in class 9 and class 10. If the syllabus is not in sequential manner then it might be a problem for students to link it up with the previous one.  If students follow the syllabus thoroughly thru out the year then as surely he will be scoring well in his coming exams and marks do mean a lot because on the basis of them only he can select subject of his choice. In other words if a student want to have science stream then he must score good in science as well as math also because then he might want to become engineer so math is a must subject for him. A class 10 CBSE syllabus includes five subjects which are English, Hindi, Sanskrit, math, science and social science. In these subjects students can choose between Hindi and Sanskrit because they are optional. Students have a whole range of other subjects too which can be added as their additional subject which in return improve the percentage and also provide them a chance if they want then they can make it as their main subject.

Board always tries to reduce stress which arises among students of class 10 due to the board exams in end of the year. For this purpose CBSE give help of every kind on its portal.
